Mycotoxins Introduction

Mycotoxins are secondary fungal metabolites that are toxic to animal and humans. Mycotoxin producing molds are ubiquitous in nature and thus mycotoxin contamination of feeds and foods is an unavoidable consequence of normal mold plant interactions.
